Plastic Folders, Plastic Covers, And Plastic T Shirt Bags
64Plastic folders are used for protecting and storing documents, presentations, researches, receipts, and other paperwork. We use them everyday in school, work, or at home. Their primary purpose is to keep our documents in an organized fashion and to keep them from folds, tears, and spillage. Unlike their manila folder counterparts, plastic folders offer more protection to your important files since they are scratch and tear resistant. And since made out of plastic, they are waterproof as well. They come in a variety of size, color, and style depending on the specific purpose they serve. Most people prefer those with clear plastic covers for easy recognition of the files they contain. Others would opt for the colorful and more opaque designs either for specific reasons such as cataloging (color coding) or simply to express one’s artistic side. The conventional plastic folders are also designed with a front thumb-notch for easy access. As we know it, parting one film of plastic over the other is sometimes not easy. They tend to stick to each other, which is why the thumb-notch is created to ease the opening of plastic folders most especially the empty ones.

What are plastic folders made of?
Like any other thing made out of plastic, plastic folders are composed of a chemical chain known as polyethylene. In turn, this polyethylene chain is composed of two ethene (also commonly known as ethylene) groups that contain the chemical elements carbon and oxygen, which undergoes a process called as polymerization. Polymerization is the bonding of monomers (in this case ethylene) to form a chain of polymer (in this case polyethylene). Polyethylene is classified according to its density, molecular weight, and branching of molecules. For example, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is used for the production of garbage bins, detergent containers, water jugs, plastic parts of appliances and electronics, water pipes, and milk bottles for its high tensile strength. On the other hand, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is used to make film wraps, folders, t-shirt bags, grocery bags, packaging materials, and plastic covers because it may not be as tensile as HDPE but it is very much ductile.
Eco-friendly Plastic Folders
These are biodegradable folders that contain additives to enable them to degrade in a landfill. It truly is an eco-friendly option for those who need to organize while at the same time keeping in mind the harmful impact of plastics to the environment. One great thing about these biodegradable plastic folders is not only do they look like your typical, functional plastic folders, but they also do not leave toxic residues after degrading. They can readily decompose either in composts or in landfills. The bioactive compounds added into the biodegradable plastic enables the microorganisms in the environment to break down and neutralize the plastic. These eco-friendly plastic folders are also as resilient as their non-biodegradable counterparts. They can be reused as often as you wish and recycled whichever way you intend. The only difference is that they have the ability to decompose so its disposal does not create burden to our environment and the generations to come. Additionally, it is also best to use plastic t shirt bags to keep your clothes clean and organized.
